The Long Weekend is Coming-Remember to Put the Plugs in Your Boat

May 13th, 2008

Seeing this boat reminded me of the time, when we cottaged on Pine Island, that John launched our whaler with me, the dog, and all the groceriesin it.

The dog started to whine, and I then noticed that there was water all over the floor of the boat, and it was coming up quickly.

John had forgotten to put the plugs in the boat when he launched us, which was the first time that spring.

Luckily we were in a whaler and therefore were not going to sink, just get very wet and cold feet.
